"Edward is a fantasic host. Be sure to check with him about rental cars, breakfasts and shuttle service. We stayed two weeks and had our own home--better than expected. Secure parking, close walk to dining and essentials in a safe feeling neighborhood. There is a small grocery directly across the street. This location is close to the airport and great for accessing attractions to the north and the central market in Alejuela. "

"Messed up my reservation, didn't let me know. Lost a night for which I wasn't refunded although they offered to, and amenities were not at all as described in Expedia. There's no TV signal, TVs not pre-connected to wifi, no info on the password, gave me pass 3 options none worked. Pretty pics that don't live up to the actual experience. I'm never coming back."

"Very clean, spacious, and modern. The private backyard is a very rare luxury in the area. Love it!"

"Very hard to find, then when you finally get there it’s not marked—looks like a house, and then they send you to another location. And finally, when we got to our room, we were told the water would be shut off from 10-4am., but they would provide a gallon of water. But they didn’t bring the water and the waiter was shut off before 10. Then they finally brought some water. The room had lots of closet space and bathroom had a lot of places to set things. The shower was cold only."

"This was just an absolute pleasure to stay at this place. The amenities were great and everything was perfect. From beginning to the end the communication was great. Whatsapp keeps the communication great and makes your stay private. Text them just about anything you want and it is done. You can also order Uber eats and get grocerys or food delivered. "I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express near the San Jose airport in Costa Rica and had a great experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for anyone needing quick access to the airport. The facility itself was fairly updated, and my room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and the space felt clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. One of the highlights was the excellent fresh breakfast, which featured wonderful fruit and a variety of options to start the day right. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, comfort, and quality service. I’ll definitely stay here again when traveling through San Jose!"
