"We had a wonderful stay. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet. Our bathroom was dreamy with a classic clawfoot tub and beautiful windows. Water pressure was amazing. "For me, the staff was very unwelcoming and on one particular occasion after returning from swimming at La Gard, I was stopped by the 4 receptionists at the desk and asked if I had a room key. It was very much so approached in way by the staff as if I didnt look like I belong there. Additionally, I had a late evening check-in and was taking a shower after an 8hr drive when the water just stopped. "The rooms are quite nice. The location is nearly 2kms outside of Verona central. The walk is not very pleasant and you need to cross a freeway. However the hotel provides a one way shuttle into Verona which is really great. There is very limited taxis though so coming back at night after dinner or when it’s raining you are still going to have to walk. We still had a lovely stay regardless"

"This hotel is amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower was great with hotter and good pressure. The adjustable LED lights in there were a cool feature! Location was wonderful for easy walks to the local historical sites and dining. Also just a short ride from the train station. "

Beautiful, quirky and charming place to stay - I just wish I had a longer stay… brilliant in every way. Also loved the “house” dog, who was beautiful… I also had my room upgraded on arrival… which was an unexpected bonus… regardless I would give the same review. I will be back… "

"I loved my stay here. It was only one night but I was impressed with how helpful the hotel staff is and how hard they try. I laughed out loud reading a review from someone saying they try too hard. The hotel room was spotless and the common areas are very charming I did get a room with no view as it’s in the old town and very close to other buildings but to me that’s part of the charm of staying in a building that is so old. I’ll definitely be back! "

"This is a great hotel with very friendly staff. It has a wonderful location, just a short walk to the Roman Amphitheatre. main city square and shopping areas. My room had a nice view of the main street, and was kept very clean. I really enjoyed the breakfast and personal coffee pot. I would definitely stay here again."
