"Dolarog Beach Resort is off the beaten path. The location is private, serene, and the most beautiful place I've ever visited. Our cabin/bungalow was literally 35 steps from the water and 35 steps away from the sea water pool. The views from this resort are beautiful. No matter where you are on the resort, you have a perfect view of the water and other islands. As the sun set in the evenings, the views kept improving every few minutes. I can't describe how beautiful the changes in light and color were. I would think that I had the perfect picture, then the light would change slightly or the sky would turn the a different shade of orange - making another perfect photo-op. The restaurant on site had a terrific menu and we enjoyed every drink, meal, and dessert during our stay. The resort staff was top notch and took care of every detail to ensure the perfect stay. I suggest taking a private tour of the other islands using the resort's speed boat. What an experience! I will definitely return."

"Very isolated and peaceful, an ideal beach getaway. Wonderful service. Fortunately we could upgrade the room upon arrival, because the Bamboo Suite was not what we thought: it was a tiny bedroom with no storage space, and a shared common room. The next level of room was wonderful and spacious. Loved it!"

"lovely, authentic place located in beautiful nature surroundings on the top of the hill (mind there are a lot of steps to get up there, although worth it). Walkable distance (1 km ) from the Vanilla beach , were all main amenities such as ATM, shops and restaurants are available. Overall great place and definitely would recommend it."

"Our trip to Lagen Island was amazing! My husband and I visited on a vacation, and I highly recommend you visit this place! The location is dream-like, and every day, we were amazed to be in such a beautiful, serene, and relaxing environment. We loved that the resort was built with nature, so we always felt surrounded by the forest and the ocean. Amazing activities are included, so they should be included in your price assessment. We went on two 4-hour and one 3-hour sightseeing, kayaking, and snorkeling excursions, and they were fantastic! The crew was kind and informative and got us to popular spots before all the other tourists. Winston was our guide on all our trips, and he is truly the best! Jonathan helped on your trips as well and made sure everything went smoothly. The resort also has great kayaking and a beautiful cove for kayaking and snorkeling. One of our favorites was the short hike over the island to a private beach. It was always empty for us, and we could walk, kayak, and swim on it. The resort itself is beautiful, and everyone was so thoughtful and kind. They were always available to answer questions and help make our trip perfect. The team members who became like family to us: Gamie was always around sharing information about the area and making great drinks! tip-happy hour is great! Bhel, Loisse, and Marceline ensured all our plans were booked, and we were always taken great care of. The food was also great! Stay here, you won't regret it! "
