"This felt like you were staying with a local family because they stay on the lodge property too. The staff was amazing and caring. The property is in a beautiful area and the guides have things to do multiple times a day. The meals were home cooked and offered a lot of variety. Overall I can’t say enough about the people and the location and the service. Suggestions for travelers include not taking a big suitcase, leave that at a hotel in Manaus and pack just the clothing needed for the lodge....

"Firstly, ignore the map. The camp is 30 mins away by by boat on a side river off the Amazon surrounded by forest. Absolutely perfect location. Also the price includes various excursions depending on how long you stay including dolphin watching, rainforest walks - but not Iquitos. No shop, take everything you need. Camp is basic but food and staff are great. Noone speaks English at camp, if you don't, take a phrase book. We stayed 3 memorable days. Do the nighttime walk!"

The reception by Tellus and his team made the start of the stay start right. Shout out to Shimir, he is extremely knowledgeable of the region and went above and beyond expectations to share key insights on the Amazon Rainforest. I highly recommend property. "
