"By The Sea Guesthouse is a bit far from downtown, but in a quiet area, which is nice! It's a 20,000 to 25,000 COP taxi ride to go downtown but easy to find a taxi and only takes a few minutes. Price was very reasonable. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was great. Very helpful. Room was very clean and nice. We had the Standard Triple Room, Ocean View, which I think was the nicest room. "The staff is wonderful, kind, and accommodating. The breakfast is very good. The second room we got was nice and big and the bathroom had hot water. However, the first bedroom had no hot water and the second bedroom had outside dogs barking all night long. People who have pets in the neighborhood should be considerate and keep their pet dogs indoors so neighbors are able to sleep during the night."
