"This is a charming and very comfortable hotel in the most stunningly beautiful area of France. It is on the edge of Ammerschwihr, a historic and picturesque village at the heart of the Alsase wine region, with views over the wineyards. A bonus while we were there was the food and wine market every Thursday evening in the summer!"

"The staff were excellent. Restaurant was great. But, No provision to make a coffee in the room or on the premises was annoying as it was very difficult to find anything open in the village to get a coffee. Shower head was stable and water flooded the floor. Also, most of the people in the hotel were elderly and getting over a steep bath to have a shower is a health hazard."

"The room was large but just contained a bed and small closet. Large bathtub and sink in one room and toilet in another. The view out the window was of a lovely small garden and shed. There is a common area in the halls, a patio connected to the restaurant, and an outdoor seating area in the back near the parking lot."

"Warm and cozy. The kids loved the pool table in the lobby, as well as the swimming pool."

"Located amidst vineyards with walking trails and wonderful views. Very friendly and welcoming staff - possibly family owned/run. Even though they spoke limited English they made every effort to be helpful. Excellent wine selection and restaurant in the hotel. They also have a spa with indoor and outdoor facilities. Highly recommend a visit if you want to get away from crowds and spend some time in the French countryside. "
