"I've stayed at a number of low-budget, "cheapest available" places on Hotels.com recently. Some have been really awful, and one was so unbearably bad that I had to leave (and forfeit my payment.) The Hurricane Rodeway is NOT one of those disasters. It was the cheapest room available on Hotels.com, but it was perfectly fine. New paint, newish carpet, recentish-bathroom upgrades. The bed was comfortable, the heater worked, the shower was large with good water pressure and the water was hot. ...

"Overall, the property was good. When I first went into the room, the refrigerator was unplugged. The blackout curtain did not cover enough on the left side that the light from the back was shining directly onto left side of the bed. The bathroom was nice and I liked the cleanliness.
