"Somewhat rustic but updated accommodations included dinner and breakfast and outdoor activities with stay. Very relaxing and lovely. Road into the lodge is a service road at this time and that was a little daunting. Wouldn’t have wanted to drive that in the dark. Overall probably the favorite place we stayed for our week long road trip through some national parks. The hot tub was out of commission but pool was open and canoes and paddle boats were also available. "

"Loved being so close to Sequoia Park, and truthfully we mostly used it just to rest before and after the park. I did find myself wondering why the quilts were ugly-side-out. The area around where the rooms are was a little worse for wear. But the room was clean enough, and I really, truly loved the sheets that were on the bed."

"We were impressed by how clean and well stocked the house is, a great option for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. It’s 40 minutes to General Grant Tree. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. It is a large house and easily accommodated our family of four. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"This cabin is so close to being amazing. It's a great location for getting into Sequoia National Park and is secluded enough that you can set up some chairs and enjoy some quiet stargazing. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed. The only problem was the bathroom was falling apart to the point that we avoided using it altogether. If the bathroom door hinges were fixed and the walls made more permanent this would be a perfect place to stay"
