"Lovely old hotel with loads of character. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Our room was comfortable and well equipped. We had dinner in the bistro on both evenings and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Breakfast was set up in the upstairs kitchen and consisted of cereals, bread, croissants, fresh fruit, juice and yogurt. There was a coffee maker, washing machine, dryer and fish washer. "

"I stayed two nights at the Mayfair Hotel in Adelaide in late January, and overall, my experience was mostly positive. The location is fantastic, right at the top of Rundle Mall, and a short walk or free tram ride to Adelaide Central Market. The Luxury King Room was comfortable with a lovely bed and a great bath. I stayed on a high floor in a quiet corner, keeping street noise to a minimum. I did hear frequent door slamming and other noise from within the hotel which may just be the heritage...

"The location was fantastic, so close to transport, eateries and shopping. We stayed 7 days and were satisfied with housekeeping, the quality of the furniture and the large and fluffy towels. The reason I haven’t rated as excellent was the set up in the bedroom. You could not fully open the door, it hit the bed.
