The woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in the lobby. Check out was just as pleasant. The room was perfect...great view, clean and equipped with everything we needed. We are already planning on our next stay at the Grey Gull!

Although there was construction going on, the area was great. There was an orange cone in one of the parking spaces & I believe a construction van.Not quite sure what that was about. Wasn't sure if they were staying there too. I have a hard time walking so I was VERY GRATEFUL we had a ground floor. Our stay was very nice. Thank you. Have been coming to Ocean Shores for over 30 years. This was our 1st time staying at the GG. We'll BE BACK!!

Late 1900s condo-style property. Great for patrons aged 40 who remember the heydey of the WA coast, before meth and Trump-ism ruined all rural areas in America. Perfect for dogs – they even have designated rooms for pets, so guests with allergies can also avoid pet smells.

We always love staying at the Grey Gull. It's convenient, clean and safe. We love the hot tub and pool and the great views and easy access to the beach.

Grey Gull isn't the shiniest penny in the drawer due to its age (1969), but you can tell they take pride in their cleaning and provision of linens. This particular unit needs some newer/better mattresses, including the couch hide-a-bed which looked about as old as the building. But the location is great and the property staff are friendly, courteous, and professional. It would be nice if they included more basic kitchen supplies, like cooking oil, and upgrade plastic cooking utensils to silicone for health reasons. Just some observations. Very clean! The pool looked fun...but we were here in the winter/rain/cold. But, hey, we got our salt-healthy ocean air!

I received a phone call at 8:40 saying I had to check in by 9. I was at a concert. I told the guy that it would not be possible. He gave me a box on my room. This took him sometime to find a pencil etc. I missed some of the evening due to the 2 phone calls from the hotel. When I arrive, the mattress was so old it sagged in the middle. The tv was so dark and small it was hard to watch. The fireplace didn't even work. I stayed here before and I never had all this disappointment. I will not return....

We have stayed here several times over the past few years. Normally we come in August to enjoy our anniversary. Sorry, but this past August I had just got over a session with Covid-19. I wasn't up to the trip, so my wife scheduled this trip in December. It turned out just perfect. Sunny days, beautiful sunsets, couldn't have had it better. Perhaps in '25 we will make it for our 64th anniversary!!

Parking was a bit tight but it works. Good view from the Ocean front rooms third floor, in the center of the building
