"This is a beautiful historic inn. Our stay included a very substantial breakfast, with more than one menu choice, served in the lovely dining room. We stayed in the smaller Colorado room, which was immaculate with period furnishings. The queen bed was against a wall, which means if two are sleeping in it, the person on the wall side's egress is climbing out the foot of the bed, however, moving it out would block the beautiful fireplace. The room itself was comfortable in size and had a nice chair for relaxing or reading. The toilet is in a very small closet room, which was a bit snug for me as a taller person with long legs. This is not a complaint, but something to be aware of when choosing this smaller room, vs. one of the larger ones at the inn. (It is the least expensive room at the inn). The sink was nicely accessible off to one side in the main room. The shower was small, but beautifully done in the space available. We were there for an event the next day, which was also catered by the inn and served in a separate dining room. It was perfect. The innkeeper was pleasant and even carried our suitcases upstairs when we arrived--a nice bonus, as we arrived tired after hiking all day!"
