"We stayed for 2 weeks using it as a base to visit museums in Heraklion and for visiting the south and east of the island. The hotel is in the centre of the city, ideal for sightseeing and restaurants, but in a very built up area. Parking is at a premium in this area, with cars parked absolutely everywhere around the hotel. The hotel has a great arrangement with a valet parking lot, literally across the street from them which worked perfectly for us. We stayed in a Business Room, Courtyard View...

"We had an excellent 6 nights at Lato. The property is very well maintained. Someone is always cleaning! The breakfast is delicious with MANY items from which to choose! Staff is quick and attentive. We ate a few times in the hotel restaurant. Our meals were excellent. The wine list is short but selective and reasonably priced. The wait staff were highly attentive and professional. Their thoughtfulness added to the positives of our meals."

"Location was fantastic and, so close to everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was really comfortable. Only downside was the room we were in, you could hear all the traffic noise outside. We hope to visit again soon."

"The hotel complex was well maintained with clean and clear pathways. The buildings and rooms were modern though showed some signs of wear and tear, but all facilities worked to the level expected. Our room was lovely, actually a suite, with a personal pool which was wonderful. Food options were plentiful and varied at both breakfast and dinner. Staff were all polite and helpful and friendly."
