"I stayed here on business recently for 2 nights. I normally stay in Gateshead but it was busy, and this one looked a good alternative. Nice comfy rooms, excellent leisure club facilities. All in all a great stay. Highly recommended "

"Lovely, older but very dignified hotel. Wonderful food in restaurant and excellent service. Handy for walking up the hill to the Cathedral and for walking to other areas like the main square and shops. I loved it. Very comfortable room and nice big bathroom. Definitely recommended. "
