"Great stay, food and service was great, evening meal and breakfast were good. Nice comfy spacious room. Only let down was being asked for card details when checking out despite them having card machines seemed strange."

"The staff are very pleasant and willing to help. The dining facilities are very nice and the food is of a high standard. The room I stayed in was basic , very clean and very well priced. It’s an old building with hot water radiators unfortunately every time the heating started in my room there was the constant sound of water running into the radiator. This didn’t help at 6am and the only option given was to switch it off."

"It was our second stay here and it was great. Typical independant country house style hotel in that it has lovely authentic decor and styling, great service, plenty of free parking, nice countryside views, and breakfast included. "

"The lovely Magdalena (Mags) on reception was very welcoming offering a glass of champagne whilst checking in. She upgraded our room, helped with our bags and showed us round the room. The room was beautiful with tea/coffee facilities and fresh milk in the fridge. Toiletries were very nice. The bed was huge and super comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel."
