"Great community on the water. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and there was security in parking areas. The room and patio was clean. The patio door was a little hard to shut but we got it. The ac worked great and there's hot water! We only stayed one night but I'd love to come back and stay for at least 3. The restaurant near our room served a nice breakfast and the view of Taal Lake was beautiful. "

Given that it is my husband’s birthday, I appreciate the cakes and greetings from the hotel particularly the card with signatory of the general manager. Unfortunately, when we booked our accommodation, it was indicated that I requested birthday balloons and cake (we’ll just pay the additional) but only the cake was present! I hope that next time, they work better."

"My stay at Microtel Batangas was superb! From the time I checked in, my experience was extraordinary. This was not the usual hotel I would choose. However, what makes this hotel great is their staff. Lani, the hotel manager, made me looked into several rooms to choose from to accommodate my needs. Ron Q, the afternoon front desk staff was always available to assist with my needs whether it was food, transportation or extra towel at night. "We booked and paid for 6 nights but stayed only one night. It is a ridiculously annoying place to stay- very noisy Aircon in the room( hub said it felt like we're still on the plane), sink in the bathroom is clogged, our WiFi didn't work, key card room did not work, no bath mat, floor of bathroom is wet, the taps of the shower were annoying, reversibg the on and off, if I turn off the shower, the water from the bottom tap turns on, it was awful to use. "My son and I were visiting my fiancee, who works at Sonion in this business park, and obtained 2 rooms last minute as her car broke down and commuting daily from the AirBnB we rented would have been problematic. We stayed at the Wyndham up the street last time, so had experience with the area and staying here came down to cost for the two rooms, which was much cheaper than the Wyndham. Overall a pleasant experience. Check-in was much easier than Wyndham. We were in our rooms within 10 minutes...

"The total service was good. The staff were approachable and always ready to assist us. The only thing that I notice was most of the pools are not available and not that clean as well. We only enjoyed our stay in the room. Cafeteria only have few food options and a bit pricey. But it was a good thing that they are allowing guests to order thru online food delivery. "
