They provided shuttle service from and to the airport and ferry and to other places as needed. They also provided several tour options- the Glacier Bay boat tour was excellent! Drawbacks for some people would be no refrigerator in the rooms and no tv in the rooms or main lodge area. However, there are ice...

"This was the perfect getaway to truly disconnect from civilization for a while. A truly unique experience. The house is perfectly located on the waterfront with a view of the water in the mountains, with whales and seals swimming past. Our host took great care of us, including picking us up at the dock. There are some good local hiking, just watch out for the bears. Food and groceries are available, though limited. Everything is walkable, and there is beauty all around."
