"Wonderful time at the Akaya Bali. Small and quiet Hotel behind a dive shop. Staff could not be faulted. Worked hard to ensure we had everything we needed. Loved the area around the pool. Very relaxing. Occasional dive lessons going on in the deep end which did not disturb us. Had wonderful included breakfast in the cafe Akaya. Good choice. Cooked fresh to order - delicious. Small but comfortable room. Had all the amenities we needed for our week long stay. I would not hesitate in recommending...

"Tamukami is the quintessential rustic Balinese hotel. The position is perfect set down a quiet driveway away from busy Tamblingan Street that seems to pump non stop, and right opposite the new Icon shopping mall which takes you right through to the beautiful beach path Sanur is famous for. Our room was huge and clean with firm bed and large walk in shower as well as a large bathtub. Our room only rate was AU$80 which seemed a little steep to me but it was nice to have that old style Balinese...

"Property was fine for low budget travellers. Taps needed cleaning...lime or mold was on all taps. Shared kitchen...kettle was not as clean as it could be...thick deposit of lime inside...hot water lasted only 5 minutes when showering."
