"The first thing you notice is that the outside of the hotel needs repainting. The second is that the old chipped bath in the ensuite needs ripping out and a modern shower is needed as you can't stand up and shower in the bath. Having said that, the rest of our stay was lovely. The hotel is attached to five acres of woods, they allow dogs to stay in the rooms, and our two Labradors loved their walks there. "Wonderful stay in the Bordeaux countryside. Benjamin and Deborah went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, memorable, and relaxing. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the hotel is well located to visit many of the top chateaux in the Medoc region and Atlantic coast beaches. The free wifi was fast and reliable, daily breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the charcuterie platter and wine is a must. Perfect end to our honeymoon!"
