Join us for an unforgettable rural experience in the Salento countryside, just 10 minutes drive from Lecce! Casina Spezzaferri is a historic residence surrounded by vineyards located in the heart of the Valle della Cupa, an area renowned for its excellent wines and its authentic rural landscape. Giorgia, owner, sommelier and winemaker, will reveal the secrets of this splendid area and its fine wines. After a brief introduction, we will begin the guided tour through the vineyards and gardens surrounding Casina Spezzaferri. It will be the perfect opportunity to search for wild herbs (depending on the season) and to discover the history of Salento viticulture. This pleasant walk will last about an hour. Our journey through time will continue with a visit to the ancient wine production site, annexed to the main house, where many of the ancient tools are still functional. This will be the ideal context for a tasting of three excellent wines from the Cupa Valley. The wines will be accompanied by an aperitif composed of typical products selected from the area thanks to our network of small selected suppliers.
