The sensation of saltiness on the skin and fine white sand underfoot, the green of a village perched on the mountain, the immensity of the gulf and the coast will remain etched in our memories. 3 pearls of western Sicily that can be reached in just under an hour's drive. First stop of our tour is San Vito lo Capo, where we will walk on the white sand that has made this beach one of the most beautiful in Italy, where we will make the first swim and visit the cathedral church of San Vito. Continue to Scopello where we will visit the tonnara and the faraglioni and then the Baglio in the perched village, tasting cunzato bread, typical street food. Another stop in the famous pebble beach of Guidaloca before continuing along the coastal road to reach Castellammare del Golfo, where we can make fabulous photographs from the scenic road over the Gulf of Castellammare and the small fishing village. In the village we will visit the main square, the marina, with its fishing boats and nets and the “castle at sea” which gave its name to this border. Here we can have lunch comfortably seated in a restaurant behind the castle and directly overlooking the quaint marina.
