After overcoming the more than 300 steps, we will reach the upper terrace where we can enjoy a unique panoramic view of our Mediterranean Sea, the corporal of sticks and the manga manga. With these spectacular views and the town of Cabo de Palos at our feet, we will have time to take photographs, and by our guide, we will know the functioning of the lighthouse and its peculiarities, such as the operation of the focus, which issues a White light that has a nominal night reach of about 23 nautical miles (43km).
During our visit you will also discover other curiosities, such as the history of the sinking of the transatlantic “the Syrian” and other important pecios that are part of our underwater heritage or the importance of the Marine Reserve of Cabo de Palos and Islas A.Cigas, being a submarine natural space Protected and one of the most popular destinations of underwater from all over Europe.
