The inspiring story of Europos Parkas, starting from the dream of young artist (19 years old at that time) to fuse nature and art in the Centre of Europe just after Lithuania regained Independence. The Forest of Art is open now for all dreamers, for dreams and dreaming.

Europos Parkas is the first museum in Lithuania to be run by an non-governmental organization. The museum collection includes large scale works by famous contemporary artists such as Magdalena Abakanowicz, Dennis Oppenheim, Sol LeWitt, Beverly Pepper, Aleš Vesely, Sasson Soffer, Makoto Ito. Acknowledged by Guinness World Records the world's largest artwork of TV sets created by Karosas is also on exhibit. Monument of the Centre of Europe, created by Karosas in 1993, contains indications of all the capitals of Europe, information on the distances to them as measured from the centre of Europe and the direction in which each of them is situated.

You will be guided through the museums territory that spans spans 55 ha, will see the most surprising artworks and get to know the stories behind them.

Open-air museum has a huge territory, a lot of it is covered by natural forest with grass paths through all the exhibition of over 100 artworks. There`s also the little restaurant and terrace in the old apple orchard to take a break enjoying good coffee and Artists' dessert.
