What you can expect

Take a trip through the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, the largest designated Area of Natural Beauty in the UK.

The Cotswolds

Covering almost 800 square miles, and no fewer than five English counties, the Cotswolds are the single largest designated Area of Natural Beauty in the UK.

On this tour, we will be visiting unique towns and villages in the heart of the Cotswolds. The first stop is the village of Bibury. With its stone buildings strung out along the banks of the River Colne it was once called the 'most beautiful village in England' by William Morris.

Burford is next. The famous high street sweeps down towards the River Windrush and is lined with ancient houses and antique shops.

We then head to Bourton-on-the Water. The village dates back to Anglo Saxon times and now is often referred to a the Venice of the Cotswolds becuase of the beautiful little bridges in the centre that span the gently flowing River Windrush.

The final stop is Broadway. We see the iconic landmark of Broadway Tower, sitting high upon a hill, once an important lookout point dating back to 1798. Take in some fresh air on a short walk around the tower and finish with a photo stop in the village centre. Broadway, the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds' with its magnificent wide street lined with a mix of Tudor, Stuart and Georgian buildings.
