The primary forest at sunset is an entirely different experience from what you can live during the morning and even at night. Costa Rica currently has 5% (five percent) of the world's biodiversity, and that allows the guest a rich observation of species in their forest reserves. If we compare, for example, the butterfly population, we find that more than 2,000 species of butterflies are diurnal and 4,500 nocturnal. More than double! Something similar occurs with reptile amphibians, mammals, and some species of exotic flowers that only bloom at night. The Mystic Reserve Hanging Bridges of the Arenal offers its guests the possibility of observing the forest at sunset and part of the dusk with the Twilight Mystic tour. It is possible the observation of herpetofauna such as frogs, snakes, mammals such as saínos, anteaters, olingos, nocturnal birds such as the owl in addition to the singing of the nocturnal species that inhabit the reserve will offer the guest a show in the magical environment of the darkness of the night.
