We will start the visit by talking about the history of the most emblematic cities in Spain. We will get acquainted with the history of his illustrious sons, Palacios, titles of the palaces. We will travel back in time walking through the cobbled streets that are located within the medieval wall of the town. Discovering the different historical stages through which the city has passed and focusing on monuments from the Middle Ages as outstanding as the Church of Santa Maria la Mayor.
After the intramural route, we will cross La Puerta de Santiago, the main access gate to the city at the time. We will go to one of the viewpoints to contemplate the Trujillo berrocal, one of the most representative natural environments in the province of Cáceres. We will continue the walk through the narrow alleys of Trujillo and finally we will see the alcazaba-castillo, a fortress built between the 10th and 11th centuries that dominates the nearby plains.
We will return to the square where we began the visit.
