Discover the Cathedral of Troia, famous for its splendid rose window, which was once depicted on the Italian 5,000 lira bill in the 1980s. Dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Assumption and built in the twelfth century in the Apulian Romanesque style, its rose window is composed of 11 stone columns and 22 different decorations created with a technique of fretwork that makes the rose appear as a laced embroidery.
