What you can expect

Get a glimpse into the Rio de Janeiro of the past during this tour of Santa Teresa and the old town.

Starting with pickup from your hotel, we take you to the bucolic neighborhood of Santa Teresa. Known for its narrow twisting streets and trendy art galleries, the area first came to life in the 1750s. See the electric Santa Teresa tram, originally built in 1896, and admire majestic mansions from the early 1900s.

After Santa Teresa, visit the historic center of Rio de Janeiro. Enjoy a walk through the Arcos do Teles, the Praça XV de Novembro, Cinelandia (and take the opportunity to visit Colombo’s bakery), and the Arcos da Lapa.
