The Estadio Inca Garcilaso de la Vega is one of the most emblematic sports venues in Peru. Inaugurated in 1950, it is named after the celebrated chronicler Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, in recognition of his valuable contribution to Peruvian literature and history. Although originally built to host local and regional sporting events, it has eventually established itself as the main stadium in the region.

Then, I will explain how the local activities are lived in the city and we will head to the stadium to witness an exciting match between Peruvian teams. During the game, I will share with you the rich football tradition of Cusco and the achievements of its teams. One of the highlights of the stadium's history was in 2003, when Cienciano won the Copa Sudamericana, being the first Peruvian team to achieve an international title, the stadium vibrated with celebrations. At the end of the meeting, we will head to taste a delicious local food. I’ll introduce you to several options, including vegetarian alternatives, so you can choose what you want. While we enjoy the food, I will tell you the history and curiosities of the surrounding area.
