What was the Sengoku period like when Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu (Yoshii Toranaga), the main character of the Sengoku spectacle drama “SHOGUN Shogun,” lived through it? Learn about that period in the suburbs of Tokyo.While touring the exhibits at the history museum of Oda Nobunaga, who was Tokugawa Ieyasu's ally, listen to the English audio guide specially produced by history lovers to gain a deeper understanding of armor, Japanese swords, matchlock guns, battle scenes, and major Sengoku daimyo. After that, travel by train and bus to visit “Takiyama Castle,” the castle of the Kanto conqueror Hojo clan, where actual battles took place during the Sengoku period, and learn about its defenses and remains while touring the castle's moat and enclosure. After that, if there is time, we will take you to a nearby sake brewery.Take the train from Shinjuku Station to Machida Station, where the museum is located, for about 30 minutes (this tour time includes 2 hours for travel time and lunch time).
