An action-packed adventure is waiting for you on the Songprak River as you take out an inflatable raft and strike out for a day of exploring the jungle. Tackle Class II to Class IV rapids for some whitewater excitement and get plenty of time to admire the stunning wilderness around you.

You're taken from your hotel to the base camp along the river, passing through the beautiful pristine forest of Phang Nga province along the way. Get a quick orientation and don your gear before you push the raft out into the powerful rapids.

Enjoyable for both amateurs and old hands at whitewater rafting, the river carries you downriver for a spectacular journey. Professional guides sit at the front and back of the raft to navigate you past the rocks, under low-hanging branches, and around the sudden corners, so you're free to just hold on and revel in the ride.

Once you've made your way through 3 miles (5 km) or 4 miles (7 km) of aquatic thrills, step ashore to enjoy for a ride back to the rafting camp. Enjoy lunch and catch your breath before you head out for a visit to the Ton Pariwat waterfall, whose rugged cliffs and plunge pool form a little inland cove surrounded by the jungle. Make the most of your time in the country ahead of the transfer back to Krabi.

• 07:45 - 08:30: Hotel pickup in Krabi
• 10:00 - 11:00: Get your equipment & training, change clothes
• 11:00 - 12:00: Do the 5 km rafting
• 12:00 - 13:00: Enjoy lunch at the rafting camp
• 13:00 - 14:00: Visit Ton Pariwat waterfall (depending on the weather)
• 14:00 - 15:30: Visit Wat Suwan Kuha Temple (Monkey Cave)
• 15:30 - 17:00: Head back to Krabi & transfer to the hotel
