The Chianti region is the essence of Tuscan beauty. You can find bright, rolling hills, luxury villas, medieval towns, olive groves, cypress trees, and endless vineyards on every turn! The short journey from Florence throughout the Chianti region is peaceful and filled with breathtaking landscapes.

We will stop at two family-owned wine estates in the center of the countryside. At each location, you will learn the secrets behind the Chianti wine production and recipes. After touring the vineyards, we will taste some of these excellent wines! Chianti wine is considered one the best and most famous wines in Italy, and you will surely be impressed. Delicious Tuscan snacks and fresh olive oil will be included in the tours as well.

You will also have free time to explore the land around the wineries, take pictures, and simply take in the incredible scenery.

After the tastings, we will head to the “Gateway to Chianti,” or Greve in Chianti. This small, Tuscan village is most famous for its main piazza, which is known for its unique, triangular shape and picturesque architecture. You will have some free time to stroll through the artisanal shops, grab some souvenirs, or even sample some more wines at one of the town’s enotecas!
