Venture to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue on top of Corcovado Mountain. Ride the Cosme Velho cog train and pass through the Tijuca rainforest on your way up to the base of the statue, where you can take in sweeping views over Guanabara Bay and Rio’s downtown sprawl.

After being picked up from your hotel, head to Maracanã Stadium to see the outside of the worldwide famous stadium. The main stadium in the country, Maracanã has hosted two world cup finals as well as a number of events during the Rio2016 Olympics and it is a must-see for any sports fan. From there on to Cosme Velho at the base of Corcovado.

Gaze down at Rio’s clustered neighborhoods, white swaths of beach, Guanabara Bay, and Sugarloaf Mountain from this spectacular vantage point before your return trip on the train to then head back to your hotel.
