After enjoying a morning of free time, your guide will meet you at 2:00 PM at your hotel lobby in the Shanghai City area. From here you will start your tour with a visit to the Yuyuan Garden, which was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. The garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age.
Afterward, you will head to visit the famous Nanjing Road to get an idea of the prosperity of this metropolis. The Bund is one of the most famous landmarks in Shanghai, and both a prominent and recognizable figure on the skyline.
In the evening, you will enjoy the night view of the Huangpu River. You can see 26 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism, and the Renaissance. These buildings are all symbols of Shanghai's diverse past. After that, you will be returned to your point of origin, marking the end of your tour.
