Discover the impressive archaeological sites of Yaxchilán, Bonampak, and Palenque, as well as the Lagunas de Montebello National Park and the incredible El Chiflón waterfall (Bride's Veil).

Day 1:
Depart early from San Cristóbal de Las Casas to visit the majestic El Chiflón waterfall and enjoy its impressive 70-meter drop. Then, visit the Montebello Lakes and proceed to the Las Nubes tourist center for a hike to see the stunning waterfalls. Sleep at the Las Nubes tourist center.

Day 2:
Early in the morning, hike to the viewpoints of Las Nubes. Later, transfer to the starting point for a kayak journey and paddle for 4 hours. During the journey, explore the jungle for lunch amidst lush vegetation and visit two impressive Ceiba trees, among the largest in the Lacandon Jungle. End the kayak tour at Campamento Río Ixcan, where you'll sleep amidst a beautiful chorus of howler monkeys.

Day 3:
After breakfast, drive for 3 hours to reach the Frontera Corozal community, where you'll board a motorboat to navigate the Usumacinta River to reach the lost city of Yaxchilán, one of Chiapas' most astonishing archaeological sites. Later, transfer to the Lacandon community of Lacanjá Chansayab, where you'll explore an interpretive trail to understand better the importance of the evergreen highland jungle. Sleep at Campamento Río Lacanjá.

Day 4:
In the morning, visit the Bonampak archaeological site, famous for its well-preserved and significant Mayan murals. Then, return to camp to start the rafting journey on the Lacanjá River. The first part of the rafting includes a sequence of cascades, some small (less than a meter) and some large class III (up to 2.50 meters tall). Hike to the Lacanjá archaeological zone, followed by a visit to the Moctuniha waterfalls for swimming and lunch. Hike back through the evergreen highland jungle to Campamento Río Lacanjá, where you'll sleep.

Day 5:
Transfer early to the Palenque archaeological site to explore one of the most important Mayan cities. Later, travel to San Cristóbal de las Casas, stopping to visit the beautiful Misol-ha and Agua Azul waterfalls along the way.
