An island discovery tour aboard our safari, a soak in the sulfur ponds, and river tubing along the Balthazar River combined with a scenic tour of the island. Adventure along the East Coast and over to the town of Grenville where our first stops includes the Fort Jeudy Blowhole and the historic Battle Hill. The preparation and sampling of sea eggs and/or sea moss (seasonal) will have you immersed in the rich history and culture of the island. Get off the main road for a short trek through some of the eastern villages to get a glimpse of their way of life. From the town of Grenville, you will then visit the world-famous Clabone Sulphur Pond where you'll enjoy a swim in the warm water leaving your skin and body feeling revitalized. Next up, it's wet n' wild River Tubing where you'll spin and swirl in the currents of the river, as you take in the exotic scenery of tropical vegetation and wildlife. Navigate the rushing rapids of the river as you're introduced to a seldom-seen Grenada. Enjoy a much-deserved rum punch or a local fruit juice after your rugged adventure, not to mention the twists and turns of the river, swimming in natural pools, and the majestic scenery of Grenada. End your day with a relaxing drive through the scenic hills of the Grand Etang Forest! You might be lucky to catch a glimpse of the popular “Mona Monkey”!
