Leave the tourists and museums behind as you set off on an adventure through the Appian Way Regional Park.
This immense area of protected land was once used for farming but today stands testament to Romes green revolution. Join us on this guided tour of the Park and the many areas of interest such as the Catacombs, the Aqueducts, the Tombs of Pagans and also have a stop for an authentic Italian aperitif (appetizer) prepared by one of our staff members in the open air surrounded by history.
Take your guided tour of the catacombs along the Appian Way, one of the biggest underground burial sites from ancient Rome.
Follow the remains of the ancient Appian Way, a road the romans built 2300 years ago to reach the Park of the Aqueducts. Admire these massive structures with a drink and an array of classic italian food such as bruschetta, olives, cheese, fresh fruit and breads as the sun sets over the countryside.
Trace the Aqueducts back into the city, following the path of water that powered the roman civilization.
Finish back at the Circus Maximus.
Suitable for adults and families with children above 10 years old.
