Overview:
The landscape is magical. The 8km of walking is an easy challenge that gets lighter with the view of the Douro River. On the other side, the century-old train passes and whistles, just like in the movies. We are in the Douro, in a fairy tale. Then it's time for the lunch, and contrasting with the countryside and rural context there is a room and a table designed in detail to welcome you. Quinta da Pacheca is well known for that. Good taste and comfort for a meal chosen by you, on the spot, in the company of good wines. After tasting, and to finish, there is still a guided tour to the winery. A journey into the past-present of the farm's wines.

What To Expect:
This activity is practiced in the valleys and hills of Douro, carried out in the area surrounding of Quinta da Pacheca. It is a walk of 8km, with beginning and end at the farm. You will be in the heart of the demarcated region and UNESCO world heritage site. An untouchable landscape bathed by the majestic Douro River. Afterwards, it's the end of the program - a very well served full lunch, thought out in detail - at one of the most distinguished and sought after farms in the region, Quinta da Pacheca! There's lunch, there's wine, and there's the visit.
