Overview

Experience a moment of solitude on an island of Venice still untouched by tourism, where only 50 people live, most of them farmers. Here you can relax and discover another side of Venice, the rural and native one. You take a walk through the vineyard and organic gardens. You taste the wine made from Dorona grapes, a unique product of its kind, a wine that is unique due to the type of surrounding soil and climate that you can only find here in Venice. Furthermore, the tasting also includes two wines that were not missing from the tables of the Serenissima and in the Venetian bacari, Ribolla Gialla and Malvasia. All this in a unique location overlooking Venice.

Activity itinerary

Visit to the company's vineyard and vegetable gardens followed by a tasting with a view of Venice of the local wine and the Friulian wines of our winemaker. We will talk above all about Dorona, an ancient vine native to Venice which is grown only on the islands of the lagoon in limited quantities. The particularity of the wine is given by a unique terroir, where the roots of the vine meet with a salty soil, giving life to a wine with iodine and salty sensations. The tasting includes tasting 3 wines
