Overview

Sandy Bottoms offers personalized & boutique snorkel tours, island hopping, & sailing lessons to the offshore islands on the East Coast of Puerto Rico. Our tours are designed around you and your parties desires. Our boat holds a maximum of six passengers so that we may provide you with the best service and experience. Snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, and fun floats are included in this trip. We also provide a brief snorkel and paddle board lesson upon request.

Our philosophy is to share our love for sailing and the ocean with you. We adapt our daily schedules around you and your sailing, snorkeling goals.

All of our trips also include a large selection of appetizers including a gourmet cheese and fruit tray, guacamole, hummus, assorted snacks and cookies. Our Ship Bar is also open for your enjoyment. We offer rum, vodka, tequila, and white wine, along with a selection of organic juices, sodas, and drink mixers. Our local beer is also onboard.

Isla Palominos

This stop is described as Isla Palominos, but is actually Cayo Lobos. Cayo Lobos is a beautiful, secluded island with wonderful snorkeling and swimming opportunities. The island has a small shipwreck that makes for great snorkeling as the fish enjoy the reef created by the shipwreck. Lobos Island is a travelers favorite!

Snorkeling, Swimming, Paddle Boarding, walking on a beautiful white sandy beach. Or just relax with a tropical cocktail in one of our floating chairs. We sail from Fajardo to the off shore islands of Puerto Rico to enjoy beautiful beaches, snorkeling, and swimming on your own private tour in our 47ft Beneteau Sailboat. Our sail takes around 45 minutes to reach our destination. In the morning you have the opportunity to discuss how you would like to spend your day with the Captain & crew. Our personalized tours are all about you! Depending on ocean conditions, we visit Palomino, Icacos, or Lobos Islands. We do not sail to Culebra. A large selection of appetizers/snacks & our full ship bar are included. Our crew is ready to introduce you to some delicious cocktails! Please feel free to bring additional food or beverages if you desire. After you book, our office will reach out to you directly to provide you with detailed information about your day & directions to the marina.
