You are free to use the car in Hokkaido Here are some of our suggested itinerary: 1 Enjoy beautiful blooming flowers in Hokkaido (Furano & Biei) Hotel -> Furano Flower Fields -> Biei Patchwork Road & Panorama Road -> Furano Cheese Factory -> Furano Wine Factory -> Hotel Furano Flower Fields Furano is famous for its lavender fields that starts blooming in late June and reaches its peak from around July to August.  There are lots of flower fields all across Furano and the best spot to view Lavender is Farm Tomita. This farm is free entrance and has cafes and shops that sell a wide range of lavender. Biei Patchwork Road & Panorama Road Biei (美瑛) offers a beautiful landscape of gently rolling hills and vast fields. The area northwest of the town center is named "Patchwork Road" and the area south of the town center "Panorama Road". Furano Cheese Factory Hokkaido is famous for its dairy products including cheese. Furano Cheese Factory allows visitors to observe the cheese production process from behind windows. There are lots of cheese samples that can be tasted by visitors including those of a black cheese colored by squid ink Furano Wine Factory Furano has produced local wine since 1972. Furano Wine Factory is open to public and offers free wine tasting. There is also Restaurant Winehouse not far from factory. You can try the wines in combination with Western dishes here. Visitors can also visit Grape Juice Factory which stands around 1.5km north of Wine Factory. Visitors can observe the production process from behind window and try the grape juice. 2 Sapporo city sightseeing Hotel -> Shiroi Koibito Chocolate Factory -> Odori Park -> Sapporo Central Wholesale Market -> Hotel Shiroi Koibito Chocolate Factory Shiroi Koibito Park is a fantastic space based on the ideals of deliciousness, fun and stories of sweets from a bygone era. In addition to housing the Shiroi Koibito Factory where this well-known Hokkaido confectionery is produced, the park also has a cafe to allow visitors to savor Ishiya’s original sweets, the Cookiecraft Studio (where budding confectioners can try their hand at making their own Shiroi Koibito cookies) and the Rose Garden. The things visitors see, taste and experience here will make for truly “sweet”memories! Odori Park Odori Park (大通公園, Ōdōri Kōen) is the broad median of Odori ("large street") in the center of Sapporo, separating the city into north and south. The park stretches about a kilometer and a half over twelve city blocks and offers pleasant green space during the warmer months.
