Bring a visit to Salinas where salt is mined from a prehistorical underground river at Rio Maior. On a Sunday this is a great option to combine with the Santana Gypsy market and/or the fruit market in Caldas da Rainha.

The first stop we make is at Obidos. This medieval village with its characteristic city wall, typical blue walls and flowers is known as one of the 7 wonders of Portugal. A great place to taste the Ginga and/or chocolate with cosy gift shops.
Nazare

Visit the lower village of NazarƩ for its great view and shop's or go to Sitio to visit the Surf museum or see the giant waves (up to 100 feet) for yourself. Also here the amount of time to spend can be decided by yourself since this is a private customizable tour.
