Guide and driver will meet you at 9:00am at your hotel lobby. you will be transfered by private car to Yellow dragon cave in the morning. (if your hotel is in wulingyuan area, it takes about 20 minutes, if your hotel in zhangjiajie city, it would be 70 minutes roughly )
The Yellow Dragon Cave , regarded as the biggest undergound cave in China, stretching a total length of 7.5 kilometers with four layers. It's home to an impressive collections of stalactites and stalagmites, illuminated in a variety of colored lights.
The cave is more beautiful than the outside which is a typical karst formation, different with sandstone platform. Yellow dragon cave is one of the important scenic spot in zhangjiajie.
We will often spend over two hours walking inside the cave to marvel the stalactites and stalagmites. Travel through the cave begins with some stairs to climb and long walks, moving from hall to hall along the paths. There are over 900 stairs to climb and long walks inside the cave.
There is river, named Xiangshui River, stretches for more than 2,800 meters. We will take a 10-minute boat ride on the river. Do be careful on the slippery steps and steep inclinations. You'd better wear comfortable shoes.
After that , You will be transfered to Baofeng lake, which is in a basin created by the terrain in the middle of the mountainous area.it is surrounded by Green trees and various shapes of stone peaks .
At the lake you can take a boat ride for 30 minutes. It is a leisurely experience as you boat on the clear water, see the reflection of the marvelous stone peaks and green trees, and enjoy entertainment by the local minority people as they sing their traditional songs. You can have a chance to sing back to them.
After the tour finished, you can spend some leisure time to hang out in wulingyuan town or try the local dishes in a good resturant or taste some local tea. Then guide and driver will send you back to your hotel or to airport or train station. (please check out hotel and put your luggage in the car if you are going to catch a flight or train after the tour)
