It is a revolving pedestrian bridge with one of the largest turning mechanisms in the world, designed to allow the passage of sailing boats that navigate the docks of Puerto Madero. The work began with the landscaper Carlos Thays, the same one who built the Botanical Garden, Avellaneda Park and Lezama Park, among others. Later, it was completed by his disciple Benito Carrasco in 1914.
