With over 20 years of experience as a Japanese language teacher, Hiroko brings a deep passion for sharing Japanese culture with others. She learned to cook from her parents and combines her love for teaching and cooking by offering culinary classes to visitors eager to learn about authentic Japanese cuisine. Join Hiroko in her small but cozy Koganei apartment, just outside central Tokyo, for a delightful 2-hour cooking class experience. Passionate about Japanese food and culture, Hiroko will guide you through making sushi rice, rolling maki with raw fish, vegetables, and fish roe, and preparing a classic Japanese vegetable dish like goma-ae. Enjoy green tea or coffee during your session as well as wine or beer which is included in your experience.
