Activity itinerary

Hampshire (Pass by)
After collection from Southampton, we will head to the Dorset Hills, driving through the lovely Hampshire countryside and famous New Forrest
Corfe Castle
  • 1h 30m
We will head high up on the hills overlooking the 1,000 year old Corfe Castle, heading along ancient by-ways and muddy tracks to reach stunning viewing and resting spots. Our 4x4 jeep safari is extremely comfortable and our passengers love the upgraded Land Rover with it's Air Conditioning, leather seats and panoramic windows.
Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door
  • 45m
Probably one of the most beautiful, old and iconic English villages by the sea. The beach is even more incredible where the last ice age carved out a horseshoe shaped bay into the Jurassic cliffs. Used for piracy and smuggling in the past, now fisherman sail these waters providing excellent fish and lobster for the visitors
Steeple
  • 30m
Visit the 700 year old church, built by George Washington's ancestors. In the church's arch, sport the world's oldest Washington coat of arms (2 stars and 3 stripes) and precursor to the Stars & Stripes flag! We will head high above Creech Grange, once home to George Washington's ancestors, heading off-road once again
South West Coast Path - Heaven's Gate at Kimmeridge Bay
  • 1h 15m
Probably the most beautiful viewing location in the whole of Dorset, Heaven's Gate sits high above Kimmeridge Bay. Only reachable with our safari truck, we head off road and along the ridge with breath taking views. We stop for refreshments and Helen's famous homemade cakes! Plus an option for a short walk to the highest point in the Isle of Purbeck which is the site of a bronze age burial mound, where on a very clear day you can see across the see to the cliffs in Normandy, France some 75 miles to the south!
New Forest National Park Hampshire
  • 1h 15m
A wonderful stop on route back to the port, is the beautiful village of Burley, set deep in the New Forest National Park. Burley has a wealth of English tea rooms, gift shops and art galleries. Burley features everything you'd expect from a traditional, old New Forest village. When in Burley don't be surprised to see ponies and cattle roaming freely around the village; picturesque thatched cottages tucked away in unexpected places help to conjure up how life was in the past. Burley has remained (relatively) untouched by time, steeped in old customs and history, enabling visitors to unwind and enjoy its tranquil simplicity.
