From Funchal we go to Câmara de Lobos Bay, an attractive fishing town by the sea with amazing small colourfull wood boats, then we drive to Cabo Girão to the highest Sea Cliff in Europe and the second in the world with 580 mts., better known for its suspended glass Viewpoint (entry tickets included). Aftterwards, we stop in São Sebastião Viewpoint offering a panoramic perspective over Madeira's west coast, situated on a top of a cliff, overlooking the town of Ribeira Brava.
After This we drive to São Vicente in the North Coast, were we can visit the most famuse Surf Spot in Madeira and see two waterfalls, the Água d'Alto impressive waterfall on the road to Seixa, and another, one of the most famouse waterfalls that by resembling a bride's veil got its name Véu da Noiva.
Continuing to Seixal beach, a stunning strech of black sand with an incredible mountain backdrop featuring ridges and waterfalls overlooking the beach. Less visited and a perfect getaway from the crowds will be visiting the Seixal Natural Pools, a volcanic rock tidal pool filled with clean and crystal clear sea water ideal for photography lovers.
After this, it is in the parish of Ribeira da Janela that the watercourse with the same name ends that we will see the famous islets, made up of impressive rock formations that mark the seascape.
To finish our tour, we will drive to Porto Moniz to the natural volcanic pools, considered the ex-libris of the municipality. Of volcanic origin, formed over millennia by the cooling of lava, the natural physiognomy of these pools allows the entry of seawater. Time to grab your snorkeling equipment and go for a swim.
