From Porto to the heart of the Douro, a scenic journey where we will cross the Vinho Verde wine region, while you will be dazzled by the unexpected landscapes of the North of Portugal and listen to the stories that characterize this magical region.
We will visit a renown port wine producer in the morning, where you will learn about all the secrets regarding the making of Port wine, explore this beautiful winery and see the stunning surrounding vineyards before you taste several delightful Port Wines. Also in the morning you will go on a boat ride (see options with or withour boat) with breathtaking views so you can appreciate all the beauty of the Douro from the water.
Next, we will head to the second winery, a small producer located in a lovely country house with garden, to enjoy an amazing authentic - on open fire - home cooked Portuguese lunch by a local chef. This part of the experience is accompanied by a selection of Douro white and red wines (unlimited quantities), followed by another tasting of delicious premium Port wines (including Vintage port).
Of course, we will also give you enough possibilities to take the best pictures and certainly take some for you.
