The temple attracts thousands of pilgrims and devotees, especially during the Maha Shivaratri festival, which is one of the biggest annual celebrations held here. During this festival, devotees from all over Nepal and neighboring countries come to pay homage to Lord Pashupatinath and offer prayers and offerings.
On auspicious events like their birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and family anniversaries, devotees recite Aarti. Some people have even vowed to worship the Aarti. The cost of performing Aarti there is fifteen hundred rupees. After then, the Aarti organizing group makes all the necessary arrangements, including the payment of the Pandits, the Hindu priests, and provides the puja materials.
