Travel to the Ouzoud waterfalls in the Middle Atlas Mountains and enjoy a scenic drive past the olive groves and Berber countryside of the plains north of Marrakech. Enjoy amazing views of North Africa's longest cascades on this full-day excursion.
This full-day trip to the Ouzoud waterfalls begins with a pick-up at the agreed place at 08:00. You’ll soon be on the way to one of the most spectacular cascades in North Africa, located 150 kilometers north of Marrakech. Set off in a group of maximum 17 people, but usually less early in the morning, and head north from Marrakech on a drive that passes fields of olive trees on route to the Ouzoud waterfalls.
When you arrive, you’ll meet a local guide who will take you around, usually for 5 $ per person paid to him. Admire views of the waterfalls (for over 110 meters), one into the other, as you walk down a network of trails that lead to the bottom pools. Later, enjoy a traditional boat ride along the scenic lake that lies at the bottom of the waterfalls. You can have lunch at your leisure at one of the local cafés serving delicious tagines next to the stream as you admire views of the waterfalls, feed the monkeys, and take Instagram photos.
In the mid-afternoon, you’ll be transferred back to Marrakech.
