This short cooking class led by a local chef is a great way to learn cooking authentic Indian food in 5 hours. Our cooking classes are focused on providing all our participants a complete perspective of all things that a good cook aspiring to perfect Indian cooking should know. You learn about proper usage of spices, what effect can be had with what kind of ingredient, social and health significance of food items and quite a few other interesting tidbits.
This class focuses on vegetarian Indian food dishes from a few local Indian cuisines. Meat dishes can be added on prior request.
SAMPLE MENU:
- Pakoda and chutney
- Roti and Parantha or Puri , Different types of bread
- Lentils , 1-2 daals
- Vegetable dish, 1-2 vegetarian dishes
- Masala chai, Tea
- Kheer or Halwa, 1-2 local desserts
Full day cooking class is available as an option which has a few more dishes.
